Captain Peter Morotto currently serves as the Training Captain for the city of Bridgeport CT fire department. He also leads the Mission CIT Fire Service Training Practice.
With 29 years of experience, he has had the privilege of serving on some of the busiest fire companies in the city. Peter has a passion for teaching and mentoring today’s fire service; he serves as a recruit program coordinator for the Connecticut fire academy and is an adjunct instructor for Fairfield, Wolcott, and Litchfield County Regional fire schools, while also owning and operating a very successful private fire training and consulting businesses (Fire Training Innovations).
He has taught numerous classes on the national circuit at various trade show conferences, both classroom and H.O.T. classes. Peter takes pride in passing on the knowledge and experience he received from some of the best firefighters in the northeast.
