- Human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Patient Assessment, treatment, and emergency care
- Patient Transportation
- Interactive online courses available 24/7
- Scheduled live distance learning sessions
- Scheduled live online group study sessions
- Three (3) skills sessions plus a final skills evaluation

The Eastern Connecticut Fire School has been providing unparalleled training of the highest degree since it first opened on September 12, 1954. Recognizing a need for a regional training facility to serve first responders across Tolland, Windham, and New London counties, the foundation that was laid over half a century ago now is the home training base to 105 of Connecticut’s 315 recognized operating fire departments (an entire third of the state). In 2020 a long awaited upgrade to the school will officially open, leading the Eastern Connecticut Fire School into a new era dedicated to the highest level of training and education for the state’s first responders with a continued commitment to excellence in safety.
