How to Use the MissionCIT Portal?
Welcome to MissionCIT. In this tutorial, we will give a step-by-step guide on how you can use our portal.
Logging Into the MissionCIT Learning Portal
Lesson 1. Logging into the MissionCIT Learning Portal.
Logging In
To get started, go to http://52.7.175.214. Click the ‘Log in’ on the top right-hand corner of the page and enter the user name and password that you set up.
Password Reset
If you don’t remember your password, press ‘forget your password?’ on the login page, and it will send you a password reset.
Please note that you will be locked out of the system after five failed attempts to log in. So, after three failures, please reset your password.
If you get locked out, please reach out to us, and our administrator will reset the password for you and remove the lock.
Finally, please do not try to create another user id. Everything is tied to the email for which you enrolled in the course.

My Profile
Upon successful login, you will see a circle with your initial on the top bar to the right. Hover over that and select Dashboard. Once in the dashboard, you can click ‘My Profile’ and update your profile information.
Enrolled Courses
Under ‘Enrolled Courses’, you can view ‘All Courses’, ‘Active Courses’, and ‘Completed Courses’. You can select the desired chapter to get started.
‘All Courses’, is a list of all the courses you are enrolled into, ‘Active Courses’, are the ones in progress, and ‘Completed Courses’, are the courses you have completed.
The ‘Wishlist’ and ‘Purchase History’ are not applicable to you.
My Quiz Attempts
‘My Quiz Attempts’, gives you a list of all the quizzes you have attempted for the different courses you are enrolled into. On clicking the ‘Course Info’ of a particular course, you will be taken to the course page.
View Attempt
Scroll down to the end of the page and click the quiz (it is present after the last lesson). This will take you to another page that has all your previous attempts to the quiz. Here you can click ‘View Attempt’.
Correct/Incorrect
In ‘View Attempts’, you may know the number of questions you answered right, and where you went wrong.

Start/Continue Course
Once in the dashboard, select enrolled courses. Then, select the desired chapter to get started.
Once in a chapter, press Start Course, or Continue course.
Lesson List
On clicking ‘Continue Course’, you will see the ‘Lesson List’ for the course on the left menu. Please take each lesson in order. Once a lesson is selected, press the arrow to watch the video.
Then look below the video – you will see ‘First Start the Video – then Click here for the Speech Text’.
Speech Text/Closed Captions
On clicking the speech text, you will see the lesson text pop up on the left column over the menu. There are closed captions available at the bottom of the lesson. It is the same content available in the lesson text pop up. You may turn on or off the closed captions at any time during the course.

Getting Credit for each Chapter

Complete Lesson
To get credit for a chapter, you need to get credit for each lesson. To get credit for a lesson, you must watch the entire lesson to the very end. Before going to the next lesson, please look for the ‘Complete Lesson’ button at the top right of the page. Be sure to press the ‘Complete Lesson’ button, which takes you to the next lesson. You will have to rewatch the video to the end if you fail to press ‘Complete Lesson.’
Start Quiz
The options on the left-hand side will help you know about your course progress. The lessons with a blue tick are the completed lessons. Once you have completed all lessons in the chapter, you can move on to the quiz by clicking ‘Start Quiz’.
Submit Quiz
To get credit for the quiz, you need to answer all questions, and click the button, ‘Submit Quiz’, present at the end of the quiz page.
To get credit for the course, you need to score a minimum of 75% on the quiz. You can take a quiz up to four times.
